Best Batman Gadgets

Top 10 Best Batman Gadgets
Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale and Heath Ledger have revived the Batman franchise. Batman is once again one of the most popular heroes. One of the things that everybody loves about Batman are the gadgets that he seems to be able to fit all in one belt. Which one of Batman's gadgets are the best?
Note: I am not counting vehicles as "gadgets". Nor is the utility belt a gadget. It is a gadget holder.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: Bat Credit CardBatman & Robin had a lot of low points and maybe none were lower than when Batman flashes his Bat credit card and declares he "never leaves the cave without it". On the other hand, Batman has to buy all his cool stuff somehow. If Bruce Wayne's credit card was used to buy a bat shaped boomerang then it might be a little suspicious.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: Boot JetsSome readers will be unhappy that I didn't include the Batmobile or the Batwing but who needs those when you can just put on your boot jets?
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: CommunicatorBatman often talks into his wrist when he wants something from Alfred or Robin. I assume he has some kind of communicator in there but maybe he is just crazier than we all thought.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: Ice SkatesThere really is only one villain that ice skates would be useful for but I guess Batman has to be ready for each specific villain. I'm sure he also carries a gas mask in case Poison Ivy attacks and breath mints in case Killer Croc comes to town.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: Shark Repellent Bat SprayIn the classic 1966 Batman movie, Batman and Robin are just about to be eaten by sharks when Batman whips out the shark repellent. Whew! Good thing you decided to go with the shark repellent today and not the giraffe repellent.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: WingsBatman has wings that allow him to glide through the air. It's a good thing too because a Batman that can't fly would just be a Ratman.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: Smoke PelletNot only is the smoke pellet a good way to impair the villain's sight but it is also an effective way to slowly kill them with lung cancer.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: BolaYou've probably seen a bola before even if you don't know it by name. A bola is a throwing weapon that has weights with interconnecting chords. They are usually thrown at somebody's legs in order to trip them up. I'm not positive but I think Batman uses a bola that has three weights. Bolas with three weights are called a boleadora. This concludes your bola lesson.
Top 10 Batman Gadgets: Bat GrapplerThe bat grappler is effective for climbing all the buildings in Gotham but I think Batman could get more use out of it. I would probably use it mainly for getting food from the kitchen without leaving the couch.

Top 10 Batman Gadgets: BatarangThe batarang is a classic Batman gadget. Now that I think about it, we really only see the batarangs hit Batman's adversary or other objects. We never actually see the batarang return to Batman. How does he do that?

Best Video Game Sidekicks

Top Sidekicks in Video Game History
A lot of times in movies, television and video games, the hero of the story is your prototypical hero. They can often be pretty boring because most of them are the same. Sometimes the characters surrounding the hero are more entertaining. Like the sidekick, for example. Sidekicks can be very important in any story and these are the 5 best sidekicks in video games.
Greatest Video Game Sidekicks: Tails and Knuckles
Video Game: Sonic the Hedgehog
I'm not really a big fan of any of the Sonic the Hedgehog games beyond the very first one but the Sonic franchise is a popular franchise and so are the other characters. If nothing else Tails and Knuckles are two popular sidekicks.
Greatest Video Game Sidekicks: Yoshi
Video Game: Super Mario Brothers
I've seen some people say Luigi is their favorite sidekick but that's just crazy. Luigi is not a sidekick. Yoshi is a sidekick and a darn good one too. How many sidekicks do you know that can swallow enemies whole?
Greatest Video Game Sidekicks: Agro
Video Game: Shadow of the Colossus
Shadow of the Colossus involves long journeys across a large world to fight nothing by boss characters. During these long journeys and tough battles you naturally become pretty attached to your one friend and traveler. I'm talking about your horse Argo of course.
Greatest Video Game Sidekicks: Diddy Kong
Video Game: Donkey Kong Country
Another Donkey Kong game is long over due. Last time I remember playing a Donkey Kong game it was way back on the Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. In Donkey Kong Country Donkey Kong had a sidekick, Diddy Kong, that the player could swap in for Donkey Kong any time they needed a smaller and faster character.
Greatest Video Game Sidekicks: Doc
Video Game: Mike Tyson's Punch-Out
I'm not sure if Doc really counts as a sidekick since he's actually Little Mac's teacher but these two are inseparable and Little Mac is the hero, so Doc has to be the sidekick doesn't he?
Greatest Video Game Sidekicks: Max
Video Game: Sam and Max
Anytime you need some laughs then Sam and Max is a good choice. Max is one of the most entertaining sidekicks in video game history and he's also very helpful in the Sam and Max games.

Greatest Video Game Sidekicks: HK47
Video Game: Knights of the Old Republic
If you like to wack some meatbags, and I do, then there is no sidekick better for you than HK47. HK47 might not be very politically correct, but let's be honest, he's just saying everything we're thinking.
